I feel embarassed for this guy. He knows the multi-touch has potential for greatness, but he doesn't know what it is. So he is talking about how its "really cool", while splitting bubbles on the screen with both hands instead of one.
Perhaps he didn't want to brainstorm with the rest of the team, to determine 1 single real life application that might impact daily life for the audience and demonstrate how truly cool this technology can be without saying it.
